Wenatchee River Institute is all about sustainable community. From the community garden, to local businesses networking and supporting each other, to nature education for our kids, we’re a member-driven organization, always responsive to your needs and wishes. You run the show!
Membership is fun and vital! Our support comes from members— people like you who care about community, sustainability, and the natural world. Become a member today to enjoy access to member-only events, as well as the warm glow of being part of the solution.
Volunteers make it happen! We keep our staffing to the minimum because we appreciate your financial support. Hundreds of volunteer hours make our programs possible. A thousand thanks to our volunteers! If you’re wondering if we need YOUR help too—yes we do! Whether you want to build a garden bed, help organize the Earth Day fair, staff Bird Fest Central, teach children about nature, support our office tasks, or assist with art displays … many hands make light work. Why not sign up to volunteer today? We'll let you in on a secret-- it's fun!
Becoming a board member is a fantastic way to connect with WRI and the community, Please email Patrick if you are interested or with any questions. We would love to have you on board!
Donors are crucial
Please help us sustain Wenatchee River Institute and Barn Beach Reserve. As a small, community-based, non-profit organization, we depend on generous financial support from indiviiduals and businesses. Donations of $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000 or more help us sustain our capacity to provide first class educational programs for school children, sponsor community programs for adults and families, and provide for stewardship of Barn Beach Reserve.
