Teach for WRI

Thank you for interest in teaching for the Wenatchee River Institute (WRI). We strive to offer a diverse array of programs that connect people, communities and the natural world. WRI is always looking for the next great opportunity to bring scientists, artists, nature-lover and the general public together. We offer classes ranging from one-hour lectures to multi-day workshops for folks young and old. Located in the mountain town of Leavenworth, Washington we can provide immediate access to incredible wilderness and outstanding natural beauty. In addition, our 9-acre Barn Beach Reserve is located adjacent to the tumbling waters of the Wenatchee River, amidst towering pines and native flowers; minutes from 'Bavarian' shops, hotels and restaurants.

We can provide on-site housing for instructors in our private, 2-bedroom, E. Lorene Young House. In addition, we work hard to offer respectful compensation for the time and effort our instructors put forth. If you are interested in potentially teaching a course. Please take a few moments to fill in this WRI Course Proposal Form by clicking on the link. Please email it back to programs@wenatcheeriverinstitute.org or mail it to the address below. We use this as a resource to help develop and refine our classes; none of the information here need be considered final. Instead please use this as a creative place to develop ideas. Please don’t hesitate to call with questions. We look forward to hearing from you.  Thanks –WRI Staff
