Introduction to Native Plants Walk

Saturday, April 24, 2021
1:00 pm3:00 pm
Wenatchee River Institute

Celebrate Native Plant Appreciation Month with the Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS). Members of the Wenatchee Valley Chapter of WNPS will provide you with some tools to help you sort out the complexities of the green world. We will assemble indoors for a general introduction and then go for a leisurely stroll from Wenatchee River Institute (WRI) along the Wenatchee River. We will look for pretty flowers and begin to recognize differences in leaves and other clues helpful in identification. We will carry some field guides and work to distinguish several plant families. Meet at the Wenatchee River Institute.

Free class, though RSVP through website required
