Sketching Birds with Bethany Wray

In this two-hour virtual class you will learn basic drawing skills to sketch a barn owl. The first part of class will cover blind contour drawing, contour lines, construction lines, and using your pencil as a method of measurement. In the second part of class we will apply the practiced drawing techniques to create a sketch of a barn owl. All you need in this class is plain pieces of drawing paper, pencils, and a white eraser.

Bethany Wray is a PNW artist who lives and works in the area of Twisp, WA.
