Join the Wenatchee River Institute for a two-hour nature walk led by one of our knowledgeable naturalists. This walk through Waterfront Park provides the opportunity to explore the outdoors and learn about natural and cultural history specific to Leavenworth with scenic views along the way! You will learn about many topics including local plants and animals, geology, the p’squosa (Wenatchi) people and the history of Leavenworth. We’ll stop to smell both the roses and some vanilla-scented trees.
Difficulty level: a ‘walk in the park’ (beginner level)
Not fully ADA accessible due to gravel trails
