 covid.\n\nSpeaker Bio:\nPeter Marbach‘s evocative landscapes reflect time 
 spent working with light at the edges of day . He has produced six photo e
 ssay book projects and has had a diverse list of clients\, from National G
 eographic to Travel Oregon. His work is part of a permanent collection at 
 Oregon State University.\nIn 2011\, Peter collaborated with writer Janet C
 ook to create a commemorative photo essay on the 25th Anniversary of the c
 reation of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. In advance comme
 nts for the book\, President Jimmy Carter said\, “Peter Marbach’s exquisit
 e imagery and Janet Cook’s eloquent text reminds us of the simple joys of 
 connecting with the land and the importance of preserving precious sites f
 or generations to come.” \nPeter ‘s efforts to rescue the former White Hou
 se solar panels from the dustbins of history were featured in two document
 aries:  The PBS show called Beyond the Light Switch and an international f
 ilm fest winner entitled A Road Not Taken. \nIn 2013 Peter served as a vol
 unteer photographer for a documentary film in Nepal about an inspiring Nep
 ali trekking guide and humanitarian\, Jagat Lama. In April 2015\, Peter wa
 s involved in fundraising efforts to help Jagat’s village rebuild after th
 e devastating earthquake and worked with local rotary to provide scholarsh
