X-WR-CALDESC:Please join us for a fun day of cleaning up trash along the Ic
 icle and Wenatchee Rivers. We will be floating 3 miles via raft and stoppi
 ng along the way to pick up litter from the banks. April is a great time o
 f year for this work since we’ll be able to remove any garbage that has ac
 cumulated over the winter before the snow melts and the river rises to lev
 els that will wash things downstream. \n\nDue to the logistics involved wi
 th rafting\, this event will be limited to the first 30 registered partici
 pants. There will also be a land based clean up happening concurrently and
  meeting at the WRI campus.\n\nThis event is put on as a partnership betwe
 en Wenatchee River Institute and Waste Loop. \n\nGarbage bags\, hand sanit
 izer\, and disposable gloves will be provided. Please bring work gloves if
  you would like to use these instead.\n\nThe river section is flat with a 
 few riffles. Participants are required to wear properly fitted PFDs at all
  times while on the boat and follow the safety guidelines presented. Parti
 cipants should wear footwear that can get wet. Rain/muck boots are a great
  choice! Please dress in layers. It is often a bit cooler on the river due
  to wind (a rain jacket is a great wind layer). Do not expect to get wet a
 side from feet.\n\nFor programs that are fully outside\, we suggest that p
 articipants are vaccinated for COVID-19\, though this is not required. We 
 ask that you wear a mask during check in and while using the restroom. Mas
 ks will be required on the shuttle ride to the put in\, but not when outdo
