X-WR-CALDESC:December 20th is one of North Central Washington Audubon's Chr
 istmas Bird Count days! Wenatchee River Institute is partnering with NCW A
 udubon Society to lead one of the routes along the Waterfront Trail here i
 n Leavenworth. Audubon and other organizations will use our data collected
  in this long-running wildlife census to assess the health of bird populat
 ions\, and to help guide conservation actions. \n\nWe will all start the b
 ird count at 8:30am at the River Haus at WRI. You are not required to stay
  for the whole bird walk\, but can join for any amount of time. WRI staff 
 will stay for the entire route. No registration required.\n\nAll birding s
 kills are welcome! Binoculars available for borrowing at WRI. Dress for co
 ld weather and non-aerobic time outside. Bring snacks for your personal fu
 el!\n\nWe will meet at Wenatchee River Institute\, 347 Division Street in 
 Leavenworth. From there we will walk the route given to us from NCW Audubo
 n.
