 , purple Lupine wildflowers\, towering Ponderosa Pines and an abundance of
  creatures of all kinds. This workshop will cover the fundamentals of maki
 ng nature photographs and will provide you with the skills to make amazing
  images of what you love.\n\nThis workshop is geared toward novice photogr
 aphers\, but all are welcome to attend to improve their photographic skill
  set. The course consists of instruction and guided practice on the ground
 s of the WRI.\n\nParticipants must bring their own camera\, but any type o
 f capture device may be used (point and shoot camera\, DSLR\, mirrorless\,
  hybrid and even cell phones).\n\nTopics that will be covered during the c
 ourse include basics of composition\, exposure settings\, light quality an
 d making the most of your equipment.\n\nClass is limited to 15.\n\nCost: N

 \n\nThe instructor for this course\, Linda Lyons\, is a passionate and ded
 icated educator\, artist and facilitator of community. She is a nature ent
 husiast\, avid trail runner\, novice climber and lost-dog magnet. Linda ha
 s extensive experience in darkroom\, antique processes and digital photogr
 aphic practice and instruction. She has exhibited her art nationally and i
 nternationally and has been published in print and web-based periodicals. 
 Linda is currently a photography instructor at Indiana University South Be
 nd and Wenatchee Valley College. Linda is committed to creating welcoming\
 , inclusive learning spaces and is a LGBTQ+ advocate.\n\nLinda considers l
 ife an art adventure and enjoys supporting others’ creative endeavors. She
  encourages her students to consider themselves storytellers\, image-maker
 s and artists. When not making or teaching art\, Linda can be found hiking
  and training for ultra-marathons.
