X-WR-CALDESC:WRI is holding a Volunteer Training for those who are interest
 ed in contributing their time to youth education programs this fall! This 
 is an optional training designed for new volunteers and also serves as a g
 ood 'refresher' for more seasoned participants. Lunch will be provided by 
 WRI.\n\nThe training will go over what to expect during our fall youth edu
 cation programs\, namely our Field Day Program\, Watershed Naturalists. Fi
 eld Days are hands-on science and exploration at the WRI campus. In the Wa
 tershed Naturalists program\, students discover how connected our land and
  water are. They explore the river\, get to know native plants\, learn abo
 ut riparian habitat\, and more! You will go over lessons on water quality\
 , erosion control\, and macroinvertebrates.\n\nPlease RSVP for the trainin
 g by clicking the red button above. If you are new\, or if your informatio
 n/interest has changed\, please also fill out the attached survey to the R
 SVP form. Registration will close at 3pm on Friday\, September 15th.\n\nKe
 eping with the school district policies\, WRI also requires volunteers to 
 be vaccinated for COVID-19. Volunteers will be required to show their vacc
 ination card upon their first time volunteering.\n\nThank you for being in
