 wever\, this workshop is targeted toward private landowners\, managers\, c
 ontractors\, organizational employees\, seriously considering using prescr
 ibed fire on their properties. If possible\, participants should bring a m
 ap (even if inexact or subject to change) of the land they hope to burn\, 
 and a general understanding of the conditions and vegetation type on their
  property. If you already have a burn plan draft\, even better! Resources 
 will be sent to you prior to the event for you to begin filling out and ex
 ploring.\n\nBurn Plan Template: We will be teaching using the Washington C
 ertified Burner Broadcast Burn Template. We will not be teaching with an N
 WCG burn plan. \n\nPILES vs BROADCAST BURNING: Burn planning is an importa
 nt piece of all prescribed fire\, both pile burning and broadcast (underst
 ory/across-the-landscape) burning. Though this workshop can provide some h
 elpful takeaways for pile burning\, it will be most relevant for those hop
 ing to plan for a broadcast burn.
