 le\, fire-pit sized kiln\, you can turn these materials into a valuable so
 il amendment.\n\nWe will also have a larger kiln (appropriate for larger p
 roperties outside the Leavenworth Urban Growth Area) available for viewing

 efit from better air quality\, reduced wildfire risk\, and improved soils.

  up: Noon pm\n\n​There will be multiple biochar-related topics for us to c
 over in-between kiln loadings. Come prepared with questions and curiosity 
 as we'll have plenty of time for Q&A along the way.\n\n​Details & Safety\n
 ​The check-in area will be at the covered picnic benches south of the main
  parking lot.\n\n​We request all attendees to review and sign waivers to h
 elp ensure a safe environment for working with fire. Even if you're only o
 bserving\, please wear a hat\, long sleeves & pants from natural materials
  like cotton. \n\n​While the Cascadia Prescribed Burn Association will gra
 ciously be providing some light refreshments\, please plan on bringing ple
 nty of water and a sack lunch.\n\n​Restrooms are available on the property
  in the Red Barn\, a short walk from the demonstration site area.
