  hard cider\n\nDescription: Hard cider production goes beyond fermentation
 —every decision\, from apple variety to yeast choice and specialized ferme
 ntation techniques\, shapes the flavor and character of the final product.
  Join us for an engaging exploration of cider history\, the diverse world 
 of apple varietals\, the fermentation process\, and how these elements com
 e together to create distinct cider profiles. Leave this session inspired 
 to refine your cider palate and seek out new varieties and styles to expan
 d your tasting experience.\n\nPresenter: Marcy has deep roots in Washingto
 n’s agriculture and hard cider industries\, with a particular focus on the
  sustainability of hard cider production for her Master’s in Agriculture. 
 Her extensive experience spans the entire cider industry\, from apple and 
 cider production to sales and guiding customers in discovering their ideal
  cider. Currently\, Marcy works to connect landowners and farmers across C
 helan County with free technical and financial assistance\, helping them t
