 titute and Puget Sound Mycological Society for our Fall Fungi Field Trip!
 \n\nBy registering through WRI you will have a spot on a field trip with a
  PSMS guide.\n*If you are already a member of Puget Sound Mycological Soci
 ety\, you do NOT need to register.\n\nThe day will begin at the Wenatchee 
 River Institute with a meeting to set the scene and provide a safety brief
 ing. PSMS guides will take groups of people out to different locations for
  fungi foraging and collection. There is no guarantee you'll find good edi
 ble mushrooms\, but you will learn the basics of foraging and get an idea 
 of habitats to explore in the future. The guided trips will be out foragin
 g for about 3-4 hours. Groups will return to WRI to have their mushrooms i
 dentified. We'll close the day out with a group potluck!\n\nNote that the 
 forage may include walking on uneven ground.\nLimit: 30 WRI participants\n
 \nCost is Pay What You Can. Choose a price that is reasonable for you. WRI
  offers this in recognition that not everyone can afford to pay for classe
 s. We hope that people who can will pay to help those who cannot.\n\n$15/p
 erson\nThis option may be for you if you are excited to attend this progra
 m and are able to pay a little extra so a neighbor can attend at a lower c
 ost.\n\n$10/person\nThis option may be for you if you are excited to suppo
 rt WRI\, and attending this program doesn't put a strain on your weekly bu
 dget.\n\n$5/person\nThis option may be for you if your budget is tight\, b
 ut still really want to attend this program and support WRI.\n\nItems to b
 ring:\n- A whistle - REQUIRED for guided trips\n-Please dress for changing
  spring weather: closed toed shoes\, rain gear\, appropriate clothing\n-Lu
 nch\, snacks\, and water\n-knife\n-collection brown bag or basket--NO plas
 tic bags. A recommended collection system would be a basket with a number 
 of smaller paper bags to separate species in the basket\n-a dish for the p
 otluck at the end of the day\n-personal plate\, cup and utensils for potlu
 ck\n-optional\, if you have: compass\, two-way radios
