  grab a drink and get a seat! \n\n<b>Presentation: Weather Whiplash - Deco
 ding Chelan County's Wild Weather</b>\n\n<b>Description:</b>\nChelan Count
 y went from drought to wildfire to flooding in 2025\, seeing extreme varia
 tions in temperature\, wind\, and precipitation that managed to surprise e
 ven seasoned meteorologists with its wild weather. This talk explains why 
 our region is prone to weather whiplash\, what atmospheric patterns drive 
 our extreme swings\, and what it means for anyone trying to plan anything 
 outdoors here.\n\n<b>Presenter:</b>\nBrock Burghardt (he/him) is a PhD met
 eorologist and Certified Consulting Meteorologist who's spent his career d
 ecoding mountain weather patterns and helping communities understand the a
 tmospheric chaos that comes with living in places like Chelan County.\n\n
 \nGround Control offers a small discount for folks who bring their own reu
