 y are passionate about\, with some time afterwards for discussion or Q&A. 
 Presentations start at 7pm – arrive early to grab a drink and get a seat! 
 \n\n<b>Presentation: The Secret Life of Community Cats: What science teach
 es us about free roaming cats in the Wenatchee Valley</b>\n\n<b>Descriptio
 n:</b>\nCommunity cats are already part of life in many of our neighborhoo
 ds — but what does science say about the best way to manage cat population
 s humanely and effectively? This talk explores the research behind Trap-Ne
 uter-Return\, common myths about free-roaming cats\, and what local TNR ef
 forts are teaching us here in the Wenatchee Valley. Expect cats\, data\, a
 nd a few surprises.\n\n<b>Presenter: BJ Andersen\, CAWA\, she/her. </b>\nB
 J is the Executive Director at Wenatchee Valley Humane Society\, and a Cer
 tified Animal Welfare Administrator. She has been a regional and national 
 leader in animal welfare for over 20 years\, and an animal lover all her l
 ife. She currently shares her life with her wife\, three cats\, two dogs\,
  two old horses\, and a flock of sheep. \n\n\nGround Control offers a smal
 l discount for folks who bring their own reusable cup for on tap orders. O
 utside food is also welcome\, as Ground Control does not sell food.
