Tracking Certification Class with David Moskowitz Saturday, June 12th - Sunday, June 13th Spend two full days in the greater Leavenworth area, with professional wildlife tracker, naturalist, educator and author, David Moskowitz. This class is a track and sign certification class through CyberTracker North America. Composting 101 Tuesday, June 15th, 5:30PM-7:00PM Horticulturalist and instructor, Betsy Dudash will share step-by-step methods for successful composting with a traditional compost bin, barrel composter, and worm bin. You'll learn the pros and cons of each method, so you can decide which one best suits your needs.
In-Person 6th Grade Science Day Camp 6th graders from Icicle River Middle School participated in a collaborative science day camp last week at the WRI Campus. They looked at and tested the health of the Wenatchee River while exploring the surrounding ecosystem! Field Days at Alpine Lakes Elementary & WRI Campus WRI is excited to have more in-person offerings for youth programs! We worked with 3rd and 5th graders at Alpine Lakes Elementary observing their school’s habitat by looking for bugs, plants, and birds. Starting this week, WRI is hosting full-day Field Days for 3rd grade students from Vale Elementary on the WRI campus. They'll be participating in our wild birds program!
