 nd Puget Sound Mycological Society for the Fall Fungi Field Trip!\n*If you
  are already a member of Puget Sound Mycological Society\, you do NOT need
  to register.\n\nBy registering through WRI you will have a chance to go o
 ut with more experienced foragers\, potentially including guided trips. Pl
 ease be sure to read any email updates closely to ensure you know how to s
 ign up for guided trips. All foragers will have the chance to gather and l
 earn about their discoveries from expert identifiers back at the Red Barn 
 after field sessions. \n\nThe day will begin at the Wenatchee River Instit
 ute with a meeting to set the scene and provide a safety briefing. PSMS gu
 ides will take groups of people out to different locations for fungi forag
 ing and collection. There is no guarantee you'll find good edible mushroom
 s\, but you will learn the basics of foraging and get an idea of habitats 
 to explore in the future. The guided trips will be out foraging for about 
 3-4 hours. Groups will return to WRI to have their mushrooms identified. W
 e'll close the day out with a group potluck!\n\nNote that the forage may i
 nclude walking on uneven ground.\nLimit: 30 WRI participants\n\n*Required 
 gear list and schedule will be emailed closer to the event date.\n\nCost i
 s Pay What You Can. Choose a price that is reasonable for you. By paying w
 hat you can\, you help WRI continue to offer high-quality programs and mak
 e environmental learning opportunities available to everyone in our commun
 ity.\n\n$25/person\nThis option may be for you if you are excited to atten
 d this program and are able to pay more than the exact cost so WRI can off
 er future programming at affordable rates\, including our free events.  \n
 \n$20/person\nThis option may be for you if you are excited to support WRI
 \, and attending this program doesn’t put a strain on your weekly budget. 
 This covers the break-even cost for WRI to put on this particular program.
