Kids in the Wild
Time: Monday through Friday, 10am- 3pm
Age: Entering grades 4-6

Challenge yourself with this camp focused on hands-on skills needed for outdoor survival.

Leavenworth is surrounded by the wild outdoors! Be prepared for the wilderness and learn important skills like knowledge of locals plants, shelter-building, navigation skills, and others. Your newfound knowledge of the outdoors will come in handy as we explore our amazing forests and are confronted with challenges.

Cost: PAY WHAT YOU CAN. We know that COVID has had a financial impact on many families, and we hope this makes camps as affordable as possible to all families. It is our hope that some families will have the ability to pay a little more to offset the costs for families who are struggling financially. When you register, there is a box to type in the amount you can pay.

Our base cost of summer camp is $235. This includes 25 hours of camp, supplies, two educators (a ratio of 2 staff to 13 campers), camp support staff, and facilities costs.

This is the cost for one camper’s portion for a week of camp:
One camp educator - $80
Two camp educators - $160
100% of camp costs - $235
Support for families who can’t pay full camp costs - anything above $235

Please enter an amount that is reasonable for your family. It can be more, less, or equal to the amounts above. We want everyone to have access to camp!
