Get to know all the incredible critters that live in and around Leavenworth.
There are so many critters waiting to be discovered at Wenatchee River Institute and beyond! Spend a week exploring these creatures, where they live and how they survive in and around the river and along forested trails. Camp includes bug collecting, learning about local farm animals, and tons of animal games.
Cost: PAY WHAT YOU CAN. We know that COVID has had a financial impact on many families, and we hope this makes camps as affordable as possible to all families. It is our hope that some families will have the ability to pay a little more to offset the costs for families who are struggling financially. When you register, there is a box to type in the amount you can pay.
Our base cost of Cool Critters Camp is $156. This includes 15 hours of camp, supplies, two educators (a ratio of 2 staff to 13 campers), camp support staff, and facilities costs.
This is the cost for one camper’s portion for a week of camp:
One camp educator - $54
Two camp educators - $108
100% of camp costs - $156
Support for families who can’t pay full camp costs - anything above $156
