WRI is thrilled to share some fantastic news! The Wenatchee River Institute (WRI) has received funding specifically designated to provide outdoor programming for Alpine Lakes Elementary next year. This incredible opportunity was made possible by an Alpine Lakes family who stepped up to support this essential outdoor learning in light of recent funding gaps. Thanks to their support, every student at Alpine Lakes will have the chance to connect with nature for up to four half-days per classroom next year. From everyone at WRI - thank you!!

If you've ever been a part of spring Youth Education programming, you've seen these trusty wooden birds used in our "Wild Birds" program. These models, donated by North Central Washington Audubon Society, have had many years of use and were overdue for a makeover. Thank you to the incredible volunteers, Heather, Lori, Jane, Kathleen, and Adrianne for their artistic skills in repainting these teaching tools.
