Land Steward's Observations |
A Wild Stray Glove Appears!
I'd like to introduce you all to my cute little pet project - Single Gloves Looking for Love, inspired by the art project in Baltimore Library of Lost Gloves and Lost Loves. While walking around town and along all the riverfront trails, I frequently find lost, abandoned, soggy gloves that are desperate for a new home. After finding and washing them, I attach a little love note and hang them on our new display board by the bike rack in front of the River Haus. We started out with ~50 gloves and 20 have found new homes! Please help these lonely gloves find a new forever home!. They are free, and if you find a glove and want to drop it off here, we will wash it and display it for its next human companion. Our Single Gloves Looking for Love would be thrilled to meet you!
