JUNE 3RD E-NEWSLETTER The Wenatchee River Institute has always been committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. No matter the race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, lives should be treated with equality. We acknowledge that Black people in this country experience discrimination. The Wenatchee River Institute has worked very hard to reach out to immigrant communities in our education programs and will continue to do so. Thanks to your support, WRI has been able to expand its geographic reach and the diversity of students we serve. We believe that EVERYONE should have the opportunity to learn about, engage with, and develop a love and appreciation for the natural world. We all need to work hard to be more inclusive and challenge our biases.
Upcoming Events We got your feedback on summer camps and now we have a plan! If and when Chelan County moves into Phase 2, small outside camps will begin. Sign up for the waiting list to hold a spot for your child. Waiting lists are for camps June 15-July 2.
