Our virtual education continues on! NCW elementary teachers, this is for you. Virtual field trips, take-home activities, and extension lessons based on NGSS standards available for most grades, K-5, and these are FREE!  Email Deanna Butcher at dbutcher@wenatcheeriverinstitute.org, if you are interested.

Volunteer Photographer Needed

The Wenatchee River Institute is in need of some high-quality photos of our outdoor spaces -our grounds, the exteriors of our buildings, and our fabulous views. With fresh snow in the forecast, our campus is prime for some great photos! New Signage

New property signs

Thanks to a grant from the City of Leavenworth and Gibbs Graphics we have more signs and maps around the property. These signs will help visitors and locals learn more about us and find their way around.

Winter Scavenger Hunt

A fun family-friendly activity! Inside the mailbox at our kiosk you will find a new scavenger hunt. Walk around the property and connecting Waterfront Park Trails looking for winter-themed objects. English and Spanish copies available.
