![]() Spring Break Camp Campers in grades K-3 got to spend their spring break with WRI from April 4th-7th! They had a blast playing lots of games. They got to finger paint and make nature art, kept nature journals, learned how to use binoculars, and even dressed up in bird costumes!
![]() ![]() Field Day Programs Last week, four 1st grade classrooms from Peshastin-Dryden Elementary visited WRI for Field Days! The students got to be nature detectives as they explored WRI and the surrounding trails. They got to learn about bugs, plants, soil, and animals through different activities. They walked through the trails looking for signs of animals. They learned about the importance of soil and got to search for things in the soil, including worms! They also learned parts of plants and took home a plant so they could watch it grow. They played lots of games that helped them understand plants and animals, too!
Thank you to our volunteers who have helped with Field Days in the last two weeks: Pam DeGrenier and Virgina Kraft! Want to volunteer for Youth Programs? Click here to view opportunities.
