Wood Burning Class - Virtual

Weds. April 21st 6:00PM-8:00PM

This workshop is all about having fun while you learn a new skill. Adventure into your own creativity while you learn the basics of wood burning. Three different ticket prices based on materials needed.

Community Garden Plots

The E. Lorene Young Community Garden is almost melted! It's time to think about renting plots.

Registration for returning plot renters will start March 29th. Registration for new plot renters will start April 15th. We hope to see you out there!

Youth Camps

Youth Camps

There are many Youth Camps happening now and coming soon!

Nature Day Camps: Two days a week, 12pm-5pm, K-3rd

Spring Break Camp: April 5th-8th, 10am-2pm, 1st-4th

Summer Camps: WRI will have summer camps this year! Specifics will be on the camps page as we have them.

We're teaming up with The Plant Ally to host a community seed swap! If you have seeds to share & trade- great! If you don't have seeds but are interested in gardening and getting seeds to get you started - great!

We are starting Bird Fest  with a poster art competition! Students in grades K-8 can participate. Send in your masterpiece by March 31st.

A Night of Storytelling - Virtual

Thursday, April 15th, 6:30PM

 Join us for an evening of storytelling that is bound to get your mind ready for spring adventures to come! Storytellers come from a range of backgrounds and will be sharing their own 5-7 minute stories.

Virtual Youth Programs for 5th Grade

The 5th grade virtual programming helps students develop a model to describe the movement of matter among plants, animals, decomposers, and the environment. Teachers can use our videos and activities without virtual fields trips as well.
