Elizabeth Sall
Elizabeth is passionate about caring for the lands, waters, and communities of this valley and honoring its deep cultural history as the homeland of the P’squosa people. As a new board member and relative newcomer to Leavenworth, she approaches this role with humility and a spirit of learning, hoping that her experience on the board of the Rocky Mountain Institute brings perspective and skills that can serve WRI’s mission.
Professionally, Elizabeth works with public transportation agencies to appropriately use data and technology to make travel more sustainable, equitable and human-centered. Locally, she volunteers with the Alpine Lakes Elementary PTO (helping organize the after-school ski club), serves as a Cub Scout den leader for Pack 28, runs DerTown.org, a community events site for Leavenworth, and sits on the Leavenworth Planning Commission.
When not attached to her laptop or supervising a gaggle of kids, she can be found mountain biking through wildflowers with her wife, exploring the Wenatchee River with her son in search of macro-invertebrates, or reveling in winter on xc skis or her snowboard.
