Make an impact on your community!
There are a wide variety of events and education programs that would not be possible without the support from local businesses and organizations like yours. When you choose to sponsor one or more of the programs below, you make an impact on your community and increase your business visibility.
Starting in January 2024, we ask for sponsorships one time per year! Your sponsorship will last the whole year.
Your sponsorship makes the following events a reality:
- Red Barn Events: FREE, hybrid events featuring enlightening and inspiring speakers, discussions, and films that explore a wide variety of topics related to people, communities and the natural world.
- Trashion Show: A fashion show featuring wearable garments made from recycled materials and repurposed clothes, all designed and created by community members. This annual Earth Day celebration attracts over 200 people each year!
- Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest: A widely loved annual festival featuring over 40 birding excursions with local experts, art classes, workshops, entertainment, and family activities. Bird Fest attracts over 500 birders from across the state and beyond!
- Sunset & S'mores: A community gathering of WRI supporters, staff, board, and students to celebrate the year’s successes.

In lieu of monetary sponsorship, there are opportunities for in-kind sponsorships such as gift cards, product packages, hospitality packages, etc. If you’d like to make an in-kind donation or have any questions, please contact Randee directly at rzerger@wenatcheeriverinstitute.org or 509-548-0181 ext. 7.
