The Wenatchee River Institute's (WRI) hands-on workshops offer exciting opportunities to develop new skills and enjoy new adventures in the stunning landscape at WRI's campus and surrounding areas. Talented local and regional instructors, along with intimate class sizes, connect you to the natural world through a diverse array of class offerings. - Art: Wreath making, watercolor, nature writing, clay modeling, cyanotype
- Science: Restoration project field trips, ornithology courses, composting, biochar, astronomy
- Speakers Series: Avalanche awareness, wildfires, human genomes, local trails and projects
- Natural History: Wildlife tracking, plant identification, mushroom foraging, native pollinators
- Cultural History: Presentations with the p'squosa (Wenatchi) people, storytelling, Indigenous art workshops like beading and weaving
- Community Events: Seed swaps, plant starts swaps, river clean-ups
