Gary Planagan, Osprey Rafting
Gary Planagan of Osprey Rafting heard about the newly hatched Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest in 2003. He approached the planning team about offering gentle float trips on the Icicle and Wenatchee Rivers for Bird Fest participants. Gary had noticed an increased interest in bird watching from his customers, and thought it would be good if his guides could learn more about birds. From day #1 of Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest to now, you can find Gary Planagan's Osprey Rafting team supporting our community, our birding festival and even out birding on their own time on the rivers and trails in North Central Washington
