Introduction to Native Plants Walk
Have you ever wondered how to tell one plant from another? Members of the Wenatchee Valley Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society will provide you with some tools to help you sort out the complexities of the green world. We will assemble indoors for a general introduction and then go for a leisurely stroll from WRI along the Wenatchee River. We will look for pretty flowers, and begin to recognize differences in leaves and other clues helpful in identification. We will carry some field guides and work to distinguish several plant families.
Free class, though RSVP through website required
Leaders: Joan Frazee & Leesa Broker
