Beautiful Wounds by Wenatchee Valley Erratics
The Wenatchee Valley Erratics, Ice Age Floods Institute’s next program will be on Tuesday, August 9 at 7:00 PM. Tim Connor will talk about his recently published book, “Beautiful Wounds, A Search for Solace and Light in Washington's Channeled Scablands"
Tim is a writer/photographer from Spokane. The book is a collection of his stunning photographs of the Scabland tracts that blend into the Bretz Flood narrative and his own personal story. In conjunction with the book, the Museum has installed an exhibit of the photographs, which you can view the evening of his talk. (The exhibit is scheduled to close on August 10, so hurry!) His book will be available for purchase and autographing that evening.
This is a bi-modal meeting. If you feel comfortable, you will have the opportunity to attend our first in-person gathering at the Museum since December 2019. If so, please wear a mask to protect yourself and others.
OR, you can participate via a Zoom link on your computer at home.
