Pybus University: Gardening Indoors & Planning
Have you always wanted to grow your own food, herbs, or flowers, but have never known where to start? Or maybe you were worried about not having enough space. It’s never too late in the year to start planning for the next! There are a lot of things you can do and grow over winter.
In this class, we’ll start by learning about plant hardiness zones, understanding seed packets, and what is needed. Next, we’ll dive a little deeper with a discussion on which plants grow well next to each other (handouts provided to take home). We will also learn about how to plan out the space of your garden or inside by a window/with lights, with designated time to sketch your own garden designs with assistance. At the end of the class, we’ll have an open discussion where you can ask questions and we can problem-solve together. You may even get some tips for holiday gifts for the gardeners in your life!
