Blackbird Island Pond Clean-up
Join us for the final Blackbird Island Pond Clean-Up of the season, hosted in partnership with the Icicle Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited! We need a crew of enthusiastic volunteers to help us clear out remaining organic debris—primarily floating logs, branches, and twigs—to keep the pond healthy and thriving. To reach debris across the water, we are specifically asking participants to bring stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, or inflatable watercraft. Work gloves, trash bags, and haul-out support on shore will be provided, so just pack your craft, a PFD, water, and sturdy shoes you don't mind getting wet. Whether you're paddling out to tow in larger logs or assisting with staging debris on shore, your help makes a huge difference for our local habitat.
