Red Barn Event: Water Rights
Doors open at 6:30pm for community social and no-host refreshments, presentation begins at 7:00pm.
Join attorney Erin McCool as she offers an introduction to water rights law in Washington State. McCool will provide a history of how water code developed and how the court has interpreted the code over passing years. The discussion will also include current issues in the private market, as well as local issues that arise between competing interests for a limited resource.
McCool is a Member at Ogden Murphy Wallace PLLC and her practice emphasizes on general litigation, employment & labor law, land use and water law. She graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Erin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Environmental Science.
A Wenatchee resident, she is an active member of the community serving as the Legislative and Diversity Director for the Apple Valley Human Resources Association, and a current board member of the Chelan Douglas Volunteer Attorney Services.
