Join WRI and the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society for a dog-friendly block party! This free event will feature a guided dog walk, free food, pup first aid demonstration, scavenger hunt, and more! Come with your leashed dog, or join us even if you don't have a dog! Kids welcome (no leash required).

Free hot dogs, burgers, sides, and sodas will be provided! Beer and wine available for purchase.

Event Agenda
4:00-4:20 pm: Welcome, mingle, drinks and snacks
Scavenger Hunt around WRI Campus from 4-7 pm (find treats for dogs and humans, and hunters get a free raffle ticket!)

4:20-5:10 pm: Guided Dog Walk to Blackbird Island

5:15 pm: Dr. Rebecca Bozarth: Presentation on pup emergency preparedness

5:30 pm: Free dinner provided by Top Dog Concessions!

5:30-7 pm: scavenger hunt continues, meet and greet with other pups and dog-lovers!

Our lot is free to park in for attendees, but small. You might find free parking in the neighborhood nearby. Otherwise you will need to pay for street parking in Leavenworth, or consider parking at the Wilkommen Park and Ride behind Safeway and catching the Link transit bus to Leavenworth Park and Ride (just past McDonalds) and walking 2 blocks down to campus. WRI is located at 347 Division Street in Leavenworth.
