Naturalist Walk Series | Caminata Naturalista
Join Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and Wenatchee River Institute on a Naturalist Walk, on Wednesday, April 17th. This 5-week series of Wednesday afternoon outings will take you to different areas in North Central Washington where you can connect to nature for FREE. A guided walk is offered for every event in the series. During the guided walk you will learn about the area’s plants, wildlife, and history. The event is open to all ages and will be led in both English and Spanish.
The Jacobson Preserve Trail is located off of skyline drive in Wenatchee. This 1.3-mile roundtrip loop is a hiking-only trail with amazing views and great spring wildflowers. There is a 440 ft. elevation gain. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with more details on where to meet and how to prepare, and a reminder email two days before the event.
