Naturalist Camp- (entering grades 1-3)
Naturalist Camp
Time: Monday through Friday, 10am- 3pm
Age: Entering grades 1-3
Have fun being a naturalist outside!
We will spend the days outdoors, exploring Wenatchee River Institute and the surrounding park, leading us through forested habitats, along the river, and through grassy meadows. Camp groups will investigate and learn about the world around us, play fun games, walk along our riverfront trail system, and do art activities.
Cost: PAY WHAT YOU CAN. We know that COVID has had a financial impact on many families, and we hope this makes camps as affordable as possible to all families. It is our hope that some families will have the ability to pay a little more to offset the costs for families who are struggling financially. When you register, there is a box to type in the amount you can pay.
Our base cost of Naturalist Camp is $260. This includes 25 hours of camp, supplies, two educators (a ratio of 2 staff to 13 campers), camp support staff, and facilities costs.
This is the cost for one camper’s portion for a week of camp:
One camp educator - $90
Two camp educators - $180
100% of camp costs - $260
Support for families who can’t pay full camp costs - anything above $260
