Jenny Ezpeleta

Jenny Ezpeleta

Jenny is passionate about the natural environment, a commitment that has shaped her career across teaching, communications, and public health. Throughout her career, she has taught science classes and mentored students in a variety of settings—forests, deserts, at sea, and on college campuses. She also brings a strong foundation in communications, complementing her work in education and public health. Holding a master’s degree in biology, Jenny has conducted research and supported research logistics for the U.S. Antarctic Program. She is now contributing to the region through her work at the Chelan-Douglas Health District, where she collects and analyzes public health data to monitor and improve community health. Recognizing the inextricable link between the environment and our health, Jenny is excited to serve on the WRI board and advocate for the natural world, people, and communities.
