Mandy Maxwell

Mandy Maxwell

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Mandy’s life has centered around nature. Whether by proximity or as a concerned citizen, she has always worried about the social and environmental impacts of modern society and dreamed of being part of the work to restore and protect the natural world and empower those who depend on it. After 16 years in the corporate sector, Mandy went all-in on the environment and social impact in 2021. She is finishing a Master of Environmental Sciences and Policy at Johns Hopkins, volunteering for organizations dedicated to climate action, and incubating a community-focused environmental collaborative. Passionate about board service, Mandy is also a trustee for a STEM-based, all-girl independent middle school in Seattle that has long supported its community through scholarships, social justice action, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She lives in Leavenworth with her husband and two Aussies.
