Sophia Kinninger
Growing up in the Midwest, Sophia spent time outdoors learning about her local ecosystem and community through experiential education. She saw the value in learning by doing. When Sophia moved to the Wenatchee Valley she started exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. In her free time she loves hiking, painting, and paddle boarding with friends. Sophia is currently a psychology student at the University of San Francisco minoring in child and youth studies. She has worked in various art and youth programs including theater classes, and while at school she works at a children’s art and STEM studio. Sophia is looking forward to sharing her love of art and spending time outdoors with the children she meets this summer. She feels that all youth should have the opportunity to explore and learn about the outdoors and have fun while doing it.
