Tucker Jonas
Tucker moved to Wenatchee during the summer of 2020, and started work at WRI the following year. He grew up in Alaska and attended school at Western Washington University, where he studied geophysics. Tucker spent many summers in Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska as an outdoor guide, taking people on daily adventures hiking, canoeing, and sea kayaking. Now, he really enjoys working with youth programs here at WRI because he is inspired by young people's curiosity towards the natural world. He likes to spend his free time outdoors, participating in all sorts of hobbies including birding, biking, ultimate frisbee, skiing, and strumming the guitar.
