Spring Naturalist Camp / Campamento de Naturaleza de Primavera: April 5-8 (Grades 1-4)
Spring Naturalist Spring Break Camp: Monday - Thursday
April 5-8th (Grades 1-4)
10:00 am- 2:00 pm
What:
Spring has sprung! Join small groups of campers and Wenatchee River Institute staff for spring break camp! We will spend the days outdoors, exploring Wenatchee River Institute and the surrounding parks, leading students through forested habitats along the river and through grassy meadows looking for the growing signs of spring! Camp groups will investigate and learn about the world around us, play fun games, walk along our riverfront trail system, and do spring art activities. Each day will vary with activities and will include many favorites, such as the game of camouflage!
Note: Lunch and snacks will NOT be provided, however we will take breaks for lunch, snacks and water while maintaining proper distancing.
Cost:
PAY WHAT YOU CAN. We know that COVID has had a financial impact on many families, and we hope this makes camps as affordable as possible to all families. It is our hope that some families will have the ability to pay a little more to offset the costs for families who are struggling financially. When you register, there is a box to type in the amount you can pay.
*An additional hour of pre-camp care is available from 9-10 am for $30 for the whole week. You can select this option when you register.
Safety Precautions:
Increased physical distancing and hygiene will be put in place. Camp will take place primarily outdoors, and campers and staff will wear masks.
