Worm Composting Workshop
Are you interested in worm composting? Join WRI for a vermiculture workshop at the Red Barn. Amanda Close, of Waste Loop, will be sharing tips on how to utilize the power of red wigglers to compost food scraps from your kitchen, thus reducing waste, and create nutrient rich compost and compost tea for your garden and house plants!
If you would like to create your very own worm composting system using reclaimed 5-gallon buckets, please indicate this on your registration form and register by October 6th to ensure that we have buckets for you. Additionally, if you have a drill, please bring it with you to the workshop!
Please bring a small glass container with screw on lid if you would like to take home a sample of vermicompost tea fertilizer.
Free with registration.
Limit: 15 participants.
