Join our 4-part series to learn the basics of nature journaling! Nature Journaling is a fun and creative way to track your observations, experiences, and discoveries in nature. You don’t have to be a scientist or an artist to join us, but you will be a bit more of both by the time we’re done! In 4 weeks, we'll explore how to start your own nature journal and try out exercises designed for personal reflection and discovery. We'll then “meet” some historical naturalists and scientists who have used journals to track their discoveries and try out some different tools that are great for journaling in the field or at home.

While this is not an art class, we will introduce some techniques to get started with basic drawing and watercolors.

What’s included:
·       4 sessions, each of which will include some history, some instruction, and some practice time indoors and outdoors
·       Your own supply kit to get started!

Class size: 15 people
Ages 12+
Children under 16 need to attend with an adult
Class Sessions: Wednesdays May 21, 28, June 4, and 11 from 5:00-6:30pm
