Are you looking for ways to reduce your plastic and carbon footprint? This is one step toward that goal! Join WRI and Leavenworth's, The Bubblery: A Soap Company, for a class on making your own shampoo and conditioner bars. Shawna Lassen, owner of The Bubblery, will teach you how to take the step away from commercial shampoos and conditioners which are often made with harsh ingredients and in plastic containers that aren’t easily recycled.

We will be formulating a pre-made base that is palm free, sulfate free and vegan for your own hair type, and learning how to blend essential oils and herbs that benefit your hair. Shawna will have several options, such as charcoal, coconut oil, fresh and dried rosemary, orange peel, lemon peel and many different types of essential oils. Each participant will leave with a shampoo and conditioner bar!
No lye will be used in this class so all are welcome to come!

Cost: $38 members, $45 non-members
Limit of 15 participants.
No need to bring anything! Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little oily or soapy.
